Class One – Home Learning Tuesday 16th June

Happy Tuesday. Here are today’s activities.

Reception:

Phonics – Complete the task on purple mash. Phase 3 ee ai oa oo

English – Mrs Grinling loves making Mr Grinling a scrumptious lunch to enjoy. Can you create your own menu of food that you would like using the leaflet set on purple mash. Draw a picture and describe each course.

Maths – Watch the learning video https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/class-clips-video/maths-ks1–ks2-what-is-multiplication/z68fbdm Then, using construction toys like lego, duplo or maybe something outside like bricks or logs can you build a wall like the one on the video with 5 bricks in each section. See if you can build different sized walls. Each time you build a wall count the bricks in fives to calculate how many were used in total. Take a photo or do a drawing and labels of your walls.

Forest School – Preferably outside, can you create the food from the menu you created earlier in your English using natural materials (for pretend eating!)
