Class 3 Spellings – 22.10.2018
Spellings this week are ten spellings that have been spelt incorrectly over the course of the half term.
Homework
For this week, children in Class 3 need to practise their spellings, read every day and log on to Times Tables Rockstars to revise their times tables.
Spooky Writing Week
Class 3 have kicked off their spooky writing week with a surprise – this morning, Mr Taylor turned into a skeleton!
In the afternoon, we listened to Jake who told the class two stories. In one, the class got to create their own characters for the story!
Thank you for all your Harvest Donations
Reverend Becky Richards has asked us to convey her thanks for your very generous donations to the Market Drayton Food Bank. Also, your monetary collection at St Swithun’s raised £47 for the church in Kerala where there were such serious floods over the Summer.
Message from Mrs Williams, Acting Interim Headteacher
Dear Parents and Carers
It has been a very busy half term so far and I have really enjoyed getting to know your children and finding out how Cheswardine works and how we are actually going to reach for the stars and enable every child the chance to be the best they can be and do the best they can do.
Parental request – Class 1 Spooky Week
Please may we request your help in providing a costume for our Spooky themed week. Your child needs if possible plain, long sleeved, dark clothing by Monday 22nd October. Please would you ensure their costume is in a named bag. Thank you for your support in this.
