Home learning – 24.04.20

Good morning.  I hope you all had a good day yesterday.  Today’s activities are as follows:

Reception:

English – draw/paint/make and label a character from the storybook that you chose on Wednesday.

Maths – as we have looked at capacity this week (how much something holds) why don’t you have a go and see what things from home float and sink in a bowl of water.  Make sure you check with your grown-up which things to try, electric devices are not to be used!

Topic – do something creative today or over the weekend.  It could be make up a song or a dance. Build a model. Make a den. Use your magical imagination and send me a picture or video on Class Story of what you do!

Year One:

Maths – here are some capacity questions for you to answer in your home link book. year 1 maths

English – on Purple Mash I would like you to complete an all about me poster.  If it is easier, do it in your home link book and send me a photo. Try to make it bright and colourful with some illustrations and use lots of great adjectives in your writing.

Topic – be creative today or over the weekend.  Make up a song or dance. Build a model.  Make a den. Bake a cake.  Do something fun and exciting and then let me know what you did over on Class Story.

Year Two:
