Good morning everyone. I hope you are all okay? Here are your home learning tasks for today:

Reception:

English:

What might the seagulls say to each other about the different lunches they eat?  Can you draw a seagull and write down what it might say? Can you use some great adjectives (describing words)?

You might find the first video from BBC Bitesize useful before you begin.

Can you gather together 20 items in groups of 5? Can you count them all and write how many there are altogether (5 in group one, 10 for group two etc)

Topic:

Create a collage of the delicious/disgusting sandwich you designed yesterday.

 

Year One:

English:

Can you write part of The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch from the seagulls point of view. What would they say to each other about the delicious lunch Mrs Grinling prepared? Then what would they say about the mustard sandwiches? Can you write sentences from each of the three seagulls? Remember to use great adjectives in your writing. You can draw each seagull and use a speech bubble if you want to.

Continue with your counting in 5s booklet.
