Vaccination information from Shropshire Council

We have received the following notification today from Shropshire Council –

The NHS are going to be running walk-in vaccination clinics at the Shrewsbury Bowls Centre, Sundorne Road, Shrewsbury SY1 4RQ from this Sunday.

For people aged 40 and over (Astra Zeneca 1st and 2nd doses)

Sunday 20 – Tuesday 22nd June inclusive 8.30am – 1pm

Sunday 27th June 8.30am – 1pm

8 weeks minimum must be between doses

For 18-39 year olds (Pfizer 1st Dose only)

Wednesday 23rd June 8.30am – 1pm

Sunday 4th July – 8.30am – 7pm

As these are walk in clinics, there is no need to make an appointment.

Today we had a super fun day of learning, all about bees.

Constructing Bee hives using hexagons.

Twisting string to make pine cone Bees.

Bee collage.

Listening to our Bee keeper visitor and asking questions.

Drawing Bees.

Hunt for the pieces to build a Beehive.

 

Role playing the life cycle of a Bee.

Learning about a Bee’s role in pollination.

Using tools and materials to make Bee crafts in Forest School.

Making a fire to cook pancakes with honey on. We talked about all the ingredients we used and where they came from.

 

We always extinguish a fire before we leave the forest.
