Reception:

Maths – This week we will be learning about time. The children in class will be using playdough to make hands for the clock templates. If you don’t have any playdough you could use sticks or blades of grass, anything really that could represent the hand of a clock. blank clocks for playdough hands

Geography – Grace Darling lived on the Farne Islands. Where abouts in the UK are they? You could have a look at Google Maps or Google Earth. Draw or trace an outline of the UK. Then draw on and label the Farne Islands. Ask, How do you know they are islands? You might shade a little bit of blue around them to represent the sea.

Year 1:
