Whole class – today with Joanna we are putting together a biography on our favourite author. I don’t mind who you choose to write about. My favourite author when I was your age was called Enid Blyton. Watch Joanna’s video and then complete the worksheet. Remember that names need capital letters please.
Maths
Reception – I loved seeing your shape pictures yesterday. Start by watching Shape by Shape. I wonder what the shapes will make? Today let’s have a look at describing shapes. What makes a square a square? Does it look the same as a circle? Can you draw and describe the following shapes for me please? A square, a rectangle, a circle, a triangle, a star and an semi-circle.
Years One/Two – today is all about measuring. Have a look at my worksheet and see what you can measure today.
History
Whole class – last week we started to look at different types of flight and you found out about the Wright brothers. Today we are going to find out about how flight changed because of their invention. Watch the song below and see if you can come up with a dance routine to go with it. Be careful when you loop-the-loop!

Reception – I wold like you draw/paint/collage a form of flight. You might want to choose a hot air balloon, an aeroplane, helicopter or rocket. I would like these to be as creative and detailed as possible please.
