Art Day display

Here is a display of some of the printing themed art work class one produced on Art Day. You can see all the different types of art we produced and the variety of skills we needed to do it. The children had great fun!

Harvest at St Swithun’s

Reverend Becky has said St Swithun’s will be open for private prayer over this Harvest Festival weekend.

The “Thankful” banner will be on display at St Swithun’s that the children have had a part in creating.

Reverend Becky was so amazed at the amount of items collected for the Foodbank challenge!  The challenge is running until 22nd October and the children are doing a great job.  Thank you for your support.

HARVEST COLLECTION

I am overwhelmed by people’s generous response to the Foodbank Appeal and will regularly take your contributions into the Market Drayton Centre. A small selection of what you have brought, along with the thankfulness bunting the children have made, will be on display in church this Sunday 11th October and next Sunday 18th October (Family Worship – 4pm).

Superworm has arrived!

This week we started reading Julia Donaldson’s book Superworm.  We made our own Superworm’s from different resources, drew a story map to help us retell it to each other and found rhyming words.  In Maths we have been learning our number bonds to 10 and beginning to add using a number line.

Supertato work

Over the past two weeks we have been reading Supertato: Veggies in the valley of Doom.  We have built traps for Evil Pea in Forest School, we have made our own Supertatos, we have released the Evil Peas from the poisonous jelly and written to Evil Pea to ask him to unfreeze the trapped carrots.
