In art with Mrs Bellfield, the class have looked at the work of Wassily Kandinsky over this half term and completed their own paintings in his style of art.

Class 3 News
The mystery of Class 3’s missing drawers!
Earlier this week an unknown perpetrator stole the pupil drawers from Class 3. The class found clues both inside and outside and then interviewed the prime suspects for the crime. We completed newspaper reports and finally found out it was Mrs Williams who had hidden them in the office!
Flour babies
As part of our science topic on the the human body, Class 3 are looking after ‘flour babies’ for a week to understand some of the responsibilities of looking after a baby.
Class 3 Maths
This week, Class 3 had a fun mathematics lesson where we measured the area of shapes on the tables.
Class 3 play quidditch
As part of our spooky week focus on Harry Potter, the class learned the rules to the magical sport of quidditch and played a tournament between the Hogwarts houses of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Slytherin.
Spooky Writing Week
Class 3 have kicked off their spooky writing week with a surprise – this morning, Mr Taylor turned into a skeleton!
In the afternoon, we listened to Jake who told the class two stories. In one, the class got to create their own characters for the story!
