Planting a tree for the Queen’s Jubilee
To commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Cheswardine School has taken part in the Queens Green Canopy; a nationwide community project that aims to increase and protect the native tree cover across the country. We chose to plant a cherry blossom tree!
Well-being day!
Yesterday we held a well-being day across the school and nursery! The children took part in a variety of different activities aimed to promote mental and physical well-being! They were even lucky enough to take part in a basketball workshop run by Paralympian Sinclair Thomas! What an honour!

Well done to our tennis team!
A huge “Well Done!” to our tennis team who came 4th in the local schools Y3/Y4 tennis competition this morning, held at Market Drayton Junior School. Our team came back with such happy, smiling faces and are so proud at having improved on last year’s 7th place finish.
We also send our congratulations to our Federation friends from Hinstock who came 2nd in the competition.
Goldstone Federation definitely has some future Wimbledon stars!
