Home Learning Tasks – 22/05/20

Good morning all. I hope you’ve all had a lovely week so far. Don’t forget next week is half term so there will be no work being set online and then the week after that, some of you will hopefully be back in the classroom with us.

Here are today’s tasks:

Reception

Maths – continue shape booklet please. I’ve seen lots of great work from you this week.

English – Incy needs to have an adventure today. Where does he go to and what happens when he gets there? Can you write one, two or even more sentences for me? Remember to use your phonics to spell out tricky and new words and use finger spaces between your writing.

Topic – final day to complete all of your very hungry caterpillar work.

Year One

Maths – have a go at identifying these 3D shapes. See if you can tell me anything about them (their properties).

English – write a diary entry about what you have been up to this week. Remember to use I to talk about yourself. Don’t forget to use capital letters, finger spaces and full stops in your writing. Try to join some of your sentences using ‘and’.

Topic – final day to complete all of your seaside work.

Year Two

Maths – Try this quiz about the properties of 3D shapes, then try to see if you can name the 2D shapes that can be found on 3D shapes.
