Good Morning Class 2,

It is the final day that I will be teaching you before we return to school, so I thought that for today’s Teams meeting we could do a show and tell. This could be something from home that you have made during lockdown and you are proud of, it could be something that represents one of your hobbies or anything else that you would like to share. Could you please choose one item each and we will hopefully have some time to ask questions about each other’s items. The meeting will be today at 1.30. Please find today’s learning below.

In the last few chapters in our class book ‘Rock Bottom’, the children are putting on a school performance of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. Your task today is to create a poster to advertise the play.  I would like you to include a description of some of the main characters. I would like you to use your learning from Monday. Year 5 – can you use relative clauses to say who plays the main characters and what they are like? Year 3/4 can you write expanded noun phrases to describe the characters? Remember that you will also need to persuade and convince people that they should some and see the play. You will complete the task on purple mash. Look for the task in the 2dos called ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream Poster.’

For P.E. you can either try to get out side for a walk, run or bike ride or you could try one of Oti Mabuse’s  dance classes aimed at both children and adults. The one below is based on the Greatest Showman, or you can have a look at her Youtube channel to see if there is a different one that you would prefer to do.
