Today you will write your argument. You can write for either side as long as you can explain the key arguments. In your writing I would like Year 3 to include 2 main arguments. Year 4 and 5, I would like you to include 3 main arguments. Try to apply your learning about conjunctions/ modal verbs that you completed on Monday. You can use the checklist below to check that you have included different features of persuasive texts.

Geography

Before half term we began to look at map reading, including map symbols and the points of the compass. Today you are going to look at using four or 6 point grid references. Please watch the video below.

Then please watch the PowerPoint on grid references.

Year 3 and 4 – you will focus on the 4 figure grid references so you only need to watch the first part of the PowerPoint.

Year 5 you will look at 6 figure grid references so can you please watch all of the PowerPoint.
