Anti-bullying Week – Monday 11th November to Friday 15th November
For national anti-bullying week if your child would like to wear odd socks on Tuesday 12th November to promote awareness, please encourage them to do so.
Mrs Williams will be talking to children about it on Monday.
School Lunch – Changes To Note Please
Please be advised that on Thursday 17th October there will be cottage pie instead of beef bolognaise. Also, on Thursday 24th October there will be beef bolognaise instead of cottage pie. Beef bolognaise will be part of the Halloween menu provided from The Grove on the 24th October. Thereafter, the menu will revert back to the usual choices for weeks 2 and 3. Thank you.
Scary Writing Week.
Class 2 were very excited this morning for the start of our scary writing week. We imagined what our classroom would look like at midnight and have tried to develop powerful description appealing to our five senses. We look forward to developing these ideas into poems tomorrow.
In the afternoon we listened to the fantastic storyteller, Jake Evans. He made us all laugh and scared us through his storytelling techniques. We are hoping to borrow some of his ideas for creating atmosphere when we read our poems tomorrow.
