Good morning! Today is World Book Day so we are going to do all things books and stories. As a school we are also encouraging you to wear your pyjamas for this World Book Day.
I would love to see some photos of you in all of your different pyjamas and sharing stories today! Are you wearing a onesie or some funny pyjamas?
Today for your daily story I am going to read The Tiger Who Came to Tea so pop over to Class Dojo’s to watch it.
So, for your activities I would like you to draw what things you would have for a picnic. Would you have strawberries or some cake? Draw some pictures to show me.
Now, for lunch time choose your favourite cuddly toy. Do you have a tiger? Have a lunch time picnic with your cuddly toy. What do they like eating?
For a little phonics and number activity in one, listen and learn the words to his song.

For Flexi Fingers today go outside and find lots of leaves and grass. Once you have found lots, use some scissors to make some snips in them. Keep these for later on.
For your activity use some of the leaves and grass that you just used for snipping and make a little bug hotel!

For your activity today I would like you to take a photograph of yourself and send it to me on Class Dojo’s. I will then put your photo on to Class Stories, lets see if we can remember everybody!
For some number fun have a listen to and a watch of this number video.

For Phonics today (Letters and Sounds) go and sit in your garden and close your eyes. Listen to what you can hear. Can you hear a bird? A plane? People talking?
(Please note: Similar activities have been suggested over lockdown but listening skills are very important in children’s phonological awareness).
Have a lovely day, Leanne.
Good morning! I hope that you had a lovely weekend. Welcome to the first day of March and St. David’s Day. DyddGŵyl Dewi Hapus
As today is St. David’s Day and usually in Nursery we would taste different foods and do different activities relating to this day here are some ideas for you to do today.
For Flexi Fingers and shape fun today, print out these daffodils and then cut them out. Once you have cut them out have a look and see which one is smallest? Which one is biggest? Can you put them in order from smallest to biggest? Now use some lollipop sticks or straws to turn them into daffodils with stems.
For your activity today follow this link and see if you can make some welsh cakes! I would love to see some photos!

Good morning!!
Here are today’s activities for you.
For flexi fingers, find these things at home:
Tweezers / peg / chop sticks
Pom poms or dry beans (anything small and sphere shaped)
Ice cube tray or muffin tray.
Now use your tweezers (or whichever you are using from above) to pick up your spherical objects. Then put them into whichever type tray that you are using.
Get back into the fresh air again and find some more sticks. See if you can make a wind chime using these sticks and some wool. Here’s an idea.

Have a watch of this fun number rap for ‘number 1!’
Todays phonics activity is Beat Baby- the video is on Class Dojo stories, as is the daily story.
Have a lovely day!!
