Perimeter
We investigated Perimeter using Numicon. We now know that the Perimeter is the distance around a shape. We can calculate the Perimeter by: Counting squares or Measuring Sides. 
KS2 Roman Trip to Dewa Chester!
The children had a great day learning about the Roman Empire and turned many heads marching through the city centre as Roman Soldiers!

Planting a tree for the Queen’s Jubilee
To commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Cheswardine School has taken part in the Queens Green Canopy; a nationwide community project that aims to increase and protect the native tree cover across the country. We chose to plant a cherry blossom tree!
Well-being day!
Yesterday we held a well-being day across the school and nursery! The children took part in a variety of different activities aimed to promote mental and physical well-being! They were even lucky enough to take part in a basketball workshop run by Paralympian Sinclair Thomas! What an honour!
