I have enjoyed looking at some of the pizza designs that you have been sending through! Today there will be a Teams meeting at 11.30. I will talk you through today’s geography task but there will also be a chance for you to talk about your pizza designs after (or any other news that you have). On Fiction Express I would like you to read the next chapter of your book. Or you can use the Oxford Owl website.
Geography
Over the next two weeks we will be looking in more detail at our local area. Next week we will be creating a map of the area that we live. This week, we are going to carry out some field work to collect information for our maps. Please look at the powerpoint below on cartographers (map makers). Afterwards (if you are able to) can you walk around you local area. Look out for landmarks that will feature on your map and make field sketches.
