We became Egyptian priests and mummified our teddies! We wore Anubis head masks and cut out organs placing them in jars. We learned how salt is used to preserve the body and stop it from rotting. We will show our understanding of mummification when we write our own instructions for it in English.
Class 2 have been looking at sources and using our archaeological skills to learn about the Ancient Egyptians and their hobbies. We used the learning strategy Chalk Talk to share our ideas, then had a game of Senet.
