Reception: Can you make a jungle for Ran Tan?  Have a look online and see what the rainforest where he would like will look like.  You could paint a rainforest, create one out of 3d objects or even craft one through junk modelling.  I look forward to seeing your amazing creations online.

Use a piece of paper placed landscape and create sky and land, remember to add the different sorts of trees needed to create a landscape.  Please add colour to make it stand out. Reception – today I would like you to draw Rang-Tan, colour and label him. Try to think of some really great adjectives to describe him.

Years One and Two – Orangutans live in Sumatra and Borneo. Can you find out which continent they are in and write a non-fiction report about Orangutans?  I need a drawing with a caption, a title, where they come from, what they look like, where they live and an amazing fact to finish. Jewish families celebrate Purim by making biscuits in the shape of Haman’s hat. These are called Hamnstachen.  They look a little like folded jam tarts.  For your lesson today, try making some of these at home.  I’ll also try to do some too.
